This is not another certification

Orygen is not a method you learn. It is the place your knowing finally becomes something you live.

You already have the understanding. What you have been missing is somewhere to put it.

The old way

More insight. More analysis. Another framework explaining you back to yourself, and another person you have to check in with before you trust what you already feel.

The Orygen way

Breath, body, structure, expression and leadership, practised until they belong to you. So that the next time something moves, you are the one in the room who knows what to do.

You have already done the work. You understand your patterns, your history and your nervous system.

You are already leading. You have built a body of work and people already trust you with themselves.

You are done making your own life another thing to research.

You want it in your body, your business, your relationships and your ordinary Tuesday.

And what you refuse to outsource, ever again, is yourself.

For you first · then for the women in your rooms · then for the ones who come after them

As women, we can no longer afford to keep looking outside ourselves for permission, direction or proof.

We are in an era of leadership that rises from within.

Orygen exists to build it. Created by Elise Small on Gubbi Gubbi country, and carried now by every woman trained inside it.

Find your way in
A quiet moment of practice

The part nobody names

Your own life has become another thing to research.

You know the feeling. Twenty tabs open because something felt off, and somehow three hours deep in identity work, a podcast about receiving, and a book you have suddenly decided you need to reread.

"I went on there to look at one thing and now I'm reading about subconscious identity ceilings."

"I think I'm just over thinking about myself all the time."

"How much more am I supposed to know about myself?"

Part of you already knows you have enough information. You are not looking for another framework to explain your behaviour back to you.

You want to live what you know.

You can understand your nervous system extremely well and still have no idea what to do when your chest tightens and every part of you wants to regain control.

This is the part we practise.

Orygen is not built to give you more insight. It is built to give you a relationship with breath, body, structure, expression and leadership that you can actually live, on an ordinary Tuesday, without anyone else in the room.

Your breath changes before the story does.

Learn to meet yourself there

The distinction

What makes this different is what we refuse to do.

Four positions that shape every room, every module and every conversation inside Orygen.

01

If breathwork only works when somebody else is facilitating you, you do not own the practice yet.

Ownership over dependency

Most training teaches you to run a session. We teach you your own breath well enough that you know what to do with yourself at 9:40 on a Tuesday night, when life has happened and there is no facilitator, no playlist and no forty-five minutes available.

The purpose of the method is that you need it, and us, less over time.

02

You probably do not need another modality. You might need to know the one you are already drawn to properly.

Depth over breadth

There is a point where adding another tool to your practice makes you less powerful, not more. We are not interested in helping you collect certifications.

You will learn breath physiology, session architecture, contraindications and integration to a professional standard, because your clients can feel the difference between something you have been trained in and something you live.

03

Transformation is not measured by how emotional a moment becomes.

Capacity over intensity

Many spaces know how to create emotional intensity. Very few know how to responsibly hold what opens afterwards.

We are far less interested in how profound a session felt than in what happens when somebody disappoints you three days later. Regulation is the foundation. Expansion is the direction.

04

Spirituality with feet on the ground.

Substance over performance

You can believe deeply in energy, feel things you cannot always explain, and still have no interest in handing your authority to someone who tells you what your soul has decided.

Here, the work has to survive contact with a real life. Your relationship, your money, your body, your family, your business, an ordinary Wednesday.

What you are actually asking for

Not more understanding. Somewhere to put it.

These are the three places the work lands first.

01

Breath you can use alone

Not putting on music and following a journey. Knowing what changes when your inhale starts pulling instead of receiving. Why your exhale disappears when something feels uncertain. Where you brace.

Knowing what your breath is telling you before your mind builds the story around it.

"I want breath available when nobody else is in the room."

02

Structure you can soften inside

You have thought for years that you needed more discipline. You have also had enough experiences where control and authority did not feel dependable, so you became exceptional at depending on yourself.

What you want now is something strong enough to rest in. A practice that belongs to you, rather than a regime you follow until life interrupts it.

"I want to know I can handle more without immediately creating more work."

03

Leadership that matches you

You can feel when something you have written is technically right and sounds nothing like you. You know when you have made yourself easier to digest, and when you have held back an opinion because you could already picture who might disagree.

You are finished with that version of leading.

"I want my work to be the natural extension of what I actually live."

The Orygen Method™

A grounded, body-led approach to transformation and leadership.

Three pillars, built in this order, because the order is the method.

01

Stability

Everything changes when the body feels safe enough to stay present with the experience. Before transformation can deepen, the nervous system has to find stability in the space, the facilitator and itself.

This pillar builds regulation, safety and the capacity to become the grounded anchor in the room.

Powerful facilitation is not created through intensity. It is created through steadiness.

02

Integration

Lasting change does not happen at the surface. It happens in the deeper architecture where identity, belief, emotional pattern and protective response are held.

This pillar teaches you to guide beyond temporary emotional shift and support what can be sustained long after the journey has ended.

Transformation only becomes real when the body is able to embody it.

03

Capacity

The depth you can safely hold for others is directly connected to the capacity you have built in yourself. As your own stability and self-awareness deepen, your facilitation changes with it.

This pillar develops the internal steadiness required to hold stronger emotion, deeper group dynamics and greater responsibility.

Leadership is not something you perform. It is something people feel in your presence.

By the end of the eight weeks

What you will be able to do, specifically.

Not how you will feel. What you will be professionally capable of when a real person is in front of you.

01   Read a nervous system in real time

Recognise the difference between activation and overwhelm in the body in front of you, and adjust pacing in the moment rather than afterwards.

02   Hold a full session without losing your own ground

Guide the seven-phase arc from arrival through to integration without rushing, forcing, or leaving the room in yourself.

03   Know the difference between catharsis and completion

One deepens the work. The other interrupts it. Most facilitators cannot reliably tell them apart.

04   Work safely within a defined scope

Intake, consent, contraindications, referral, and the recognition and response protocol for suspended breathing.

05   Support the forty-eight hours afterwards

Because what happens after the session determines whether anything actually changed.

06   Use your own breath without a facilitator

The practice that belongs to you, available on an ordinary Tuesday, with nobody else in the room.

07   Build a practice that pays you properly

Positioning, pricing, packaging and outreach, held with the same integrity as the work itself.

Elise Small, founder of Orygen Breathwork

The woman you would be learning from

I am not here to become another person you need.

For fourteen years I worked in education, in leadership and mentoring roles built around emotional wellbeing, development and safety. I watched the same thing repeatedly. We know how to survive difficult experiences. Very few of us know how to stay with ourselves inside them.

In 2020 my own life asked me to learn the difference. Separation, solo motherhood, and the mental health complications that arrive with unmet complex trauma. Breath stopped being a practice I did and became the way I found stability, clarity and my own authority again.

When I moved further into the breathwork industry, I found something I could not unsee. The industry did not need more intensity. It needed more structure, more responsibility and more steadiness in the way transformation was being held and integrated.

That became Orygen. A methodology grounded in nervous system safety, embodied leadership and real-world application, built for women who are done being coached through their lives and ready to lead from something they actually live.

I do not want you leaving this work thinking, "Elise knows how to get me there."

I want you leaving knowing exactly how you got there. What changed in your breath. What happened in your body. What you did when the contraction came. Why we slowed down, and why we did not push through it.

Because next time I may not be there.

And you will be.

Orygen Breathwork™ Facilitator Training

Eight weeks. One intake. Intentionally small.

A professional breathwork certification for women ready to lead transformational work with safety, presence and embodied authority. You learn breath from the inside first. Then you learn how to hold it professionally for somebody else.

You will move through breath physiology and the lineage of conscious connected breathwork, polyvagal theory and autonomic intelligence, the seven-phase session arc, contraindications and consent, trauma-aware facilitation, live practicum, and the business and energetics of building a practice that is genuinely yours.

Included alongside the certification: Orygen Sound Therapy Practitioner Training, Human Design for business and energetic leadership, and the Facilitator Practice Library.

The confidence you are looking for does not come from knowing what to say next. It comes from knowing you can stay with what happens next.

20 September

An all-in-one holistic practice program, everything included, and a real deadline. No inflated total value, and no countdown designed to rush your nervous system into a yes. A decision made from stability lasts.

Admission

This is an application, and most of the work happens before you are accepted.

The intake is kept deliberately small to protect the depth of what happens inside it. Every application is read by me personally, and every applicant receives a call.

I am not assessing how much you already know. I am assessing whether you are ready to be responsible for somebody else's nervous system.

What I am looking for

That you already hold space in some form, whether as a parent, coach, practitioner, educator, leader, or within your family and community.

That you are grounded, autonomous, and willing to do your own work first.

That your yes comes from your body rather than from urgency.

This is not the room for

A quick certificate to add to a bio.

Intensity without responsibility.

A training that will do the inner work on your behalf.

That boundary is intentional. It protects the women you will one day hold.

The process

01   Submit your application. It takes about ten minutes and asks real questions.

02   I read it personally. Not a team, not a form response.

03   You receive a call within forty-eight hours on business days.

04   If it is a yes on both sides, you are in. If it is not, I will tell you why.

05   Applications close Monday 31 August. The cohort begins 3 September.

What you refuse to outsource is yourself.

You still want mentorship. You want proximity, and rooms that expand you, and people around you who are exceptional at what they do.

What you are no longer available for is handing over the relationship you have with yourself.

You are not here for a certification. You are here to become so deeply practised in yourself that the way you lead other people changes.
